The followings are qualified to participate in SK telecom OPEN 2007.
(1) The leading 75 players selected on the basis of seed priority
(2) The leading 60 player selected on the basis of the Asian Tour regulations.
(3) Professionals and amateurs recommended by the Tournament Committee.
SK telecom OPEN 2007 shall be played over 72 holes (4 Rounds) stroke play. In the event when a Tournament is canceled or not played its full scheduled rounds due to inclement weather or conditions beyond control, it is considered as the tournament when minimum 18 holes are completed by the entire participants.

4th May (Thursday) First round, 18 holes
5th May (Friday) Second round, 18 holes

After 36 holes are completed, top 60 players including amateurs and those tied for the 60th place will be advanced to the final.

6th May (Saturday) Third round, 18 holes
7th May (Sunday) Final round, 18 holes

The lowest scorer for 72 holes will be a Champion. In the event of a tie for the first place at the conclusion of the scheduled number of holes in tournament, play-off shall be conducted on a "hole-by-hole" basis.
(1) All entries should submit the official entry form of KPGA.
(2) The Entry fee (W150,000) should be sent to KPGA. Entry fee shall not be reimbursed after the closing date for withdrawal. Those who are allowed to pay with BC card can pay with the credit card. Otherwise, it shall be remitted.
(3) The closing for entry is 5:00 p.m. local time, 19th April 2006.
(4) All entries shall be subject to the approval of the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or refuse entries, which shall be final without giving a reason for its decision.
Play will be governed by Rules of Golf as approved by the Korea Golf Association, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, USGA and the local rules approved by the KPGA Tournament Committee. It will be considered as 'completed' when the championship cup is given to the winner.
a. List of Confirming Golf Balls

The ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Confirming Golf Balls issued by the R&A and USGA.

b. One Ball Rule

During regular rounds, the balls players play must be of the same brand and type as detailed by a single entry on the current List of Confirming Golf Balls.
Note: If a ball of a different brand and/or type is dropped or placed, it shall be lifted, without penalty, and the player must then proceed by dropping or placing a proper ball (Rule 20-6)

Penalty for Breach of Condition
Two strokes for each hole at which any breach occurs:
The maximum penalty per round: four strokes
Driving Club with a loft of 15 degrees or less must not exceed Characteristic Time of 257 ms when measured on apparatus approved by The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. (Make a reference to appendix II-5a of Rule)
Note to pace of play guide line
Groups and time of starting shall be decided by drawing lots. Even after the announcement of the groups, the Tournament Committee can adjust the time.
In case a player arrives at his starting point late, if the player is ready to play within five minutes after his starting time, he may play under 2 penalty strokes at the first hole instead of disqualification.
Date of Official Practicing Rounds will be on May 1st (Monday) and 2nd (Tuesday) 2006. However, only registered players shall practice at specified hours.
Players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. The wearing of short pants is prohibited.
The opening ceremony of a ball game will be held on 1st Tee ground, and 1-3 groups on 1st tee and 2-3 groups on 10th tee should participate in the ceremony.
(1) All players who are in the final 10 pairings in the final round must be present at the closing ceremony. Prize winners are champions and special awardees.
(2) Prize Money shall be paid to professionals only according to Prize Money distribution.
